Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC seeks an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support US Space Force mission-critical space operations on-site in the continental United States. You will contribute to OTTI IPO and Space Systems Command’s System Delta 81 to develop, integrate, and sustain advanced test and training capabilities to enhance readiness.

The ideal candidate combines systems engineering expertise with strategic thinking and strong communication to deliver results in a fast-paced DoD

Qualifications

Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
10+ years of DoD experience in systems engineering, RDT&E, or related programs.
Experience with SPOs/PMOs or system delivery to SPOs/PMOs.
Experience with RDT&E and test and training materiel systems.
Experience deploying, integrating, operating, and sustaining space test and training materiel.

Responsibilities

Conduct feasibility studies and concept exploration for system solutions.
Perform DRM engineering and supporting system analysis.
Develop CONOPS to support mission requirements.
Manage system requirements, ICDs, verification plans, and validation activities.
Assess impacts to requirements, interfaces, and objectives.
Align PPBE activities with technical efforts for OTTI.
Support system engineering throughout RDT&E and fielding.
Collaborate with government and stakeholders for delivery.
