Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer (level 3) to join the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. You will decompose parent level requirements and own environments, supporting test engineers and reviews with vendors and customers. Travel ~25% to CONUS locations is expected.

Required: DoD Secret clearance, 5+ years with BS, 3+ with MS, or 1+ with PhD. SAP approval within scope and MIL-STD/Laboratory testing familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active DoD Secret clearance at time of application.
• SAP approval within scope is required.
• Experience with MIL-STD-810/ MIL-HDBK-344/ MIL-HDBK-310 and RCC 319.
• Ability to travel CONUS ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Decompose requirements and own environments for equipment.
• Review environmental criteria documents and verification methods.
• Support system test engineers and develop test procedures.
• Interface with vendors and customers to coordinate reviews.
• Travel up to ~25% to CONUS test locations.
