Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer within the Avionics Test Engineering organization in Cedar Rapids, IA to lead analysis across test solutions from concept to deployment.

You will decompose requirements, develop validation procedures, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with hardware/software teams to deliver robust test systems while ensuring compliance with CE Mark and RoHS. Eligible relocation offered.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with manufacturing test equipment in production or service settings.
• Knowledge of CE Mark and RoHS requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support certification compliance with CE Mark and RoHS by capturing requirements and testing.
• Participate in program planning and risk management from bid to deployment.
• Develop test systems requirements and validation procedures for Test Solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams and external end users/customers.
• Interface with Test Engineering Hardware and Software teams.
