Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Senior Principal Systems Engineer- Integration and Test Lead in Cedar Rapids to drive verification and validation for High Assurance Devices across programs. You will lead integration efforts for mission computing, crypto, and cross-domain technologies, maturing solutions from low TRL to accreditation and production.

Qualifications

• Experience with the systems development process including requirements capture, design, integration, and verification/validation.
• Experience working in air-gapped CUI or secure lab environments.
• Active and transferable SECRET clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Typically requires STEM degree and minimum 8 years of experience or an advanced degree with 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, architecture and design for the Integration and Testing phases of systems development.
• Conduct functional analysis, trade studies, and requirements allocation for Integration and Test.
• Lead planning, integration, verification/validation, cost/risk, and supportability analyses for total system solutions.
• Lead Test Readiness Reviews with Customer and Certification Agencies.
• Collaborate with Systems Architects and Product Owners to create Integration and Test Environments and Plans.
• Lead Verification, Validation, and Qualification in Unclassified and Classified environments.
• Mentor junior engineers on Integration, Validation, Verification, and Qualification across programs.
