Job summary

RTX's Collins Aerospace division seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions, translating requirements into hardware and software specifications. You decompose system needs and drive verification, validation, and risk analyses across multiple disciplines.

You will collaborate with hardware and software teams, support test-solution adoption, and mentor junior engineers while balancing schedule and cost constraints within a global program.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced Degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with manufacturing test equipment in production or service centers.

Responsibilities

• Develop test solutions and validation procedures to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams and end users to deliver testing capabilities.
• Verify and validate test solutions and conduct trade studies.
• Support product line strategy and process improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers.
