Job summary

RTX's Space & Airborne Center in El Segundo, CA seeks Systems Engineers to join a multidisciplinary team that integrates hardware and software, develops test plans, and verifies system requirements for final customer sell-off. You will work across engineering disciplines, perform MBSE and Agile development, and support radar mode verification, testing, and sustainment across the product lifecycle.

Onsite role with occasional travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

Master's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) by start date.
Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office, MATLAB or Python for data analysis and automation.
Experience troubleshooting electronics with common test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.).

Responsibilities

Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, or Troubleshoot Test activities in labs, field, or Depot facility.
Support qualification of products and troubleshooting with root-cause analyses.
Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to stakeholders.
Maintain engineering databases and draw-up detailed performance evaluations.
Coordinate engineering efforts between Program, System Engineering, Software, and Chief Engineer.
