Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Test Systems Engineer to design and document Test Environments, collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure robust testing from component to All‑Up‑Round.

You will apply Model Based System Engineering methods, develop subsystem requirements and interfaces, and maintain strict requirements traceability while working with SMEs to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience in test requirements development, planning, techniques, and validation.
• Experience across the product lifecycle in test activities.
• Experience with Model Based Engineering processes and tools (SysML/UML).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and document Test Environment capabilities across teams.
• Develop subsystem requirements, interfaces, and architecture.
• Collaborate with SMEs to resolve issues and support trades/analysis.
• Derive test requirements and ensure traceability throughout development.
• Promote reuse of Test Environment requirements to improve efficiency.
• Interact with engineering disciplines to test prime hardware end‑to‑end.
