Job summary

RTX seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead multidisciplinary teams (systems, mechanical, electrical, and software) in designing and delivering complex test engineering solutions for internal and external customers. You will drive inception through deployment, ensuring long-term support and quality.

The role requires leadership of cross-functional teams, strong communication, and robust project scheduling using MS Project, with a focus on environmental stress screening and avionics-related

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Prior leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing customer relationships.
• Master of Engineering or MBA is preferred.
• Knowledge of avionic products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead project technical execution and maintain performance metrics.
• Manage project scope, requirements and change requests.
• Generate and maintain project schedules with dependencies and critical path.
• Utilize Earned Value methods for budget and schedule.
• Ensure project meets quality expectations.
• Identify risks and opportunities and address them.
• Prepare presentations reporting project status to leadership.
• Develop engineering estimates and proposals for potential projects.
