Job summary

Ntiva is hiring a Systems Engineer to own IT operations governance and onsite field support for a DC-area client. You will deliver scheduled onsite support, address issues, and drive improvements through project involvement and documentation.

The role requires 5+ years in IT operations, strong M365, IAM, Windows endpoint support, and leadership experience. Hybrid onsite work with some remote days, based in the Washington DC area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, service delivery, or a similar field (MSP or internal IT environment).
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online/Entra ID, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Identity and access management: MFA, Conditional Access, Azure AD / Entra ID, and account lifecycle management.
• Windows endpoint support: hardware troubleshooting, OS imaging, standard builds, and device configuration.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily, scheduled onsite appointments to provide end user support and manage client IT infrastructure.
• Resolve Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and M365 issues in person during onsite visits.
• Troubleshoot and maintain workstation imaging, network connectivity, VPN, and Wi-Fi across the office.
• Provide onsite support for employee onboarding and offboarding, coordinating with remote staff.
• Develop and update playbooks for recurring ticket types and improve first-call resolution.
• Prepare concise service reports for client stakeholders and Ntiva leadership.
