Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Systems Engineer in Alexandria, VA to support a large-scale deployment in a customer-facing role. You will ensure system performance, provide operational support, troubleshoot issues, and engage with clients across multiple teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of enterprise experience, strong Linux/Windows knowledge, and hands-on Kubernetes with containerized environments. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

3+ years supporting enterprise systems, infrastructure, or apps.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Experience with Linux and Windows OS.
Experience with Kubernetes and containerized apps.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary liaison for customers; respond to incidents and issues.
Maintain Network Video Recorder (NVR) and video management systems.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and communications issues.
Participate in customer meetings and change control processes.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance across Linux/Windows and COTS apps.
Monitor and support containerized applications and infrastructure.
Collaborate with engineering and QA to test and deploy enhancements.
Provide operational training to end users and staff.
Assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Participate in on-call rotation for critical systems.
