Job summary

ManpowerGroup seeks a Systems Engineer (Managed Services) in Hunt Valley, MD to own escalation leadership across a broad Microsoft stack, drive patching and Intune strategy, and define security baselines for client environments. You will lead complex troubleshooting, mentor staff, and create SOPs to standardize operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience administering and troubleshooting Azure, Entra ID, Intune, VMware, Windows Server, and M365 environments.
• Demonstrable experience with MSP-style tools and platforms such as Ninja, Halo, and documentation platforms.
• Proven ability to lead escalations and deliver advanced technical troubleshooting for complex infrastructure and identity environments.
• Experience overseeing technical staff in day-to-day operations and escalations, ensuring consistent quality and operational excellence.
• Strong understanding of patching, configuration management, and operational baselines, including the ability to create project plans and present ideas to senior team members or leadership.
• Polished communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage in client strategy discussions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical escalation point and SME for complex client issues across M365, Azure, Entra ID, VMware, Windows Server, and AD environments.
• Own patching and Intune strategy, including configuration, enforcement, and continual improvement.
• Define and enforce internal security/config baselines within M365/Intune.
• Lead advanced technical troubleshooting and provide leadership for projects as needed.
• Facilitate integrations between core management/operational systems and standardize operations via SOPs and knowledge articles.
