Job summary

SC&H seeks a Systems Engineer for Co-Managed Services in Maryland to serve as a senior escalation point and SME acrossAzure, Entra ID, Intune, VMware, and Windows Server. You will align security baselines, coordinate integrations, and oversee core tool usage to ensure peak client environments.

You will lead escalations, mentor staff, and participate in client engagements for key infrastructure accounts, while contributing to SOPs and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience administering and troubleshooting Azure, Entra ID, Intune, VMware, Windows Server, and M365 environments.
• Experience with MSP style tools and platforms such as NinjaOne and Halo.
• Proven ability to lead escalations and provide advanced technical troubleshooting.
• Experience overseeing technical staff in day-to-day operations and escalations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical escalation for complex client issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra, VMware, Windows Server, and AD environments
• Own patching and Intune strategy, configuration, enforcement, and continual improvement
• Define and maintain security baselines within M365 / Intune and ensure client alignment
• Provide advanced technical leadership and subject matter expertise for projects as needed
• Ensure adoption, configuration, and best practice usage of core toolsets (RMM, PSA, documentation, password management, monitoring)
• Stay current on Microsoft features and updates to support troubleshooting and advisory roles
• Coach and mentor other staff ensuring consistent quality and operational excellence
• Support selective client-facing engagements for key infrastructure accounts
• Create and maintain SOPs, technical documentation and knowledge articles to standardize operations
