Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to support total systems engineering across concept to operation. Candidates should have a TS/SCI clearance and a background in ground systems engineering or integration, with strong MBSE and requirements management skills.

The role emphasizes interface with customers and subcontractors, rigorous verification/validation, and the development of procedures aligned with program needs in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; Master’s 3+ years; PhD not required.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance; willing to sit for a polygraph.
• Experience with ground systems engineering, systems integration, or software engineering.
• Experience with requirements engineering and model-based systems engineering.
• Experience collaborating with customers and subcontractors; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs system engineering, integration, verification and validation for total systems.
• Converts customer or product requirements into total system solutions within constraints.
• Maintains and updates procedures; interfaces with program and customer personnel.
• Develops new procedures as required and supports cross-functional teams.
