Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Sector seeks a Systems Engineer – Level 4 for positions in Fairfax, VA or Morrisville, NC. Responsibilities include driving MBSE-based features for satellite ground systems, translating needs into artifacts, and leading verification planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years of engineering experience or Master's with 6+ years or PhD with 4+ years.
Active TS/SCI clearance at time of application and ongoing.
2+ years of MBSE experience using Cameo or equivalent.
2+ years of experience with No Magic Cameo or equivalent.
Experience in space-vehicle, command-and-control, mission management or software subsystems.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
2+ years of SE processes and artifacts development for SW, including use cases and interfaces.
Experience working on Agile programs.

Responsibilities

Drive development and execution of features for satellite ground systems with MBSE.
Translate customer needs into digital artifacts for software implementation.
Support and lead verification planning and test requirements.
Work on architecture, interfaces, and design across subsystems.
Engage in sprint planning, standups, and reviews aligned with product vision.
