Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to drive systems engineering maturation for the Digital Ecosystem. You will lead teams, collaborate with program leadership, and work on MBSE and cloud-based environments across the product lifecycle.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance, with SAP eligibility and a strong background in complex systems engineering. Relocation and travel may be offered as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline; 6 years with a Master’s; 4 years with a PhD.
• U.S. citizen with active DoD Secret security clearance at time of application and ability to obtain SAP approval.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small or cross-disciplinary team under guidance of Lead Systems Engineers to mature technical baselines.
• Drive incremental capability insertions across the Digital Ecosystem.
• Apply model-based engineering and digital engineering to complex system lifecycles.
