Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for aviation programs.

The role is full-time on-site at the NAVAIR base in Patuxent River, MD, with clearances as required. The position requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance (Top Secret possible after start) and at least ten years of software and systems engineering experience working with military avionics or related software.

Qualifications

• At least ten years experience performing software and systems engineering activities.
• Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and/or software.
• Active Secret clearance is required; Top Secret possible after start.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements; review vendor specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Analyze software defects and support ECP processes.
• Participate in Agile and SAFe team processes.
• Prepare SOWs/CDRLs and assist IGCEs; support contractor evaluations.
