Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is hiring a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer for the acquisition, development, and sustainment of aviation programs.

This on-site role is located at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD and requires an active Secret clearance with potential to upgrade to Top Secret. The candidate will develop and maintain software requirements, coordinate with vendors, participate in SE technical reviews, and support ECPs, IGCEs, and contractor evaluations.

Qualifications

• At least ten years of software and systems engineering experience.
• Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and/or software.
• BS in ABET-accredited technical program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs) and ECPs.
• Support cybersecurity SMEs and IGCEs; evaluate contractor proposals.
