Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the Battlespace Awareness team across CO and MA. You will work hands-on through the full software pipeline—designing scenarios, performing analyses, and building tooling for informed decisions.

You will set technical direction, raise engineering rigor, and mentor less experienced engineers in a fast-moving defense technology environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering or software systems integration and test experience.
• Strong Python skills for data parsing, analysis, and visualization.
• Ability to read and reason about C++ or Rust.
• Experience developing data analysis and observability tools.
• Deep exposure to kinematics modeling and simulation frameworks (AFSIM or comparable).
• Skilled in Monte Carlo techniques.
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines, metrics, and test fixtures for software evaluation at scale.
• Experience applying engineering standards into processes and leading a team.
• Proven experience leading collaboration across cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to developers, leads, and customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design, run, and analyze scenarios. Build Python analysis that turns outputs into actionable results.
• Define and own the metrics strategy; instrument and track measures over time.
• Lead customer demonstrations; present technical judgment to customers.
• Characterize and explain system behavior and inform architectural decisions.
• Build data analysis and observability tooling; drive CI/CD automation.
• Set direction across seams; mentor engineers on integration and testing practices.
