Anduril Industries is hiring a Lead Systems Engineer to guide the Battlespace Awareness team across Broomfield, CO and Waltham, MA. You will lead a high‑impact software engineering organization delivering C2 products, simulations, and mission‑critical tooling.

The role combines hands‑on development with people leadership, architecture work, and customer facing engagements. Expect travel up to 25% and security clearances as part of the position.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering or systems integration experience.
• 1+ year of direct people management experience.
• Strong Python and familiarity with C++/Rust.
• Experience building data analysis and observability tools at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers, including hiring and performance reviews.
• Set technical direction for scenario design and analysis across data sets.
• Own the metrics strategy and drive engineering decisions.
• Represent the team in customer engagements and demos.
• Drive root-cause analysis of system behavior and architecture.
• Build and scale data analysis, observability tooling, and CI/CD automation.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to resolve blockers.
