Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Systems Engineer to join the Battlespace Awareness team in Broomfield, CO and Waltham, MA. You will run simulations, analyze performance data, and build tooling for observability and CI/CD integration across the C2 software stack.

The role involves designing scenarios, defining metrics, and supporting customer demos while collaborating with cross-functional engineers and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or software systems integration and test experience.
• Strong Python skills for data parsing, analysis, and visualization.
• Ability to read and reason about C++ or Rust (writing it full-time is not required).
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and test fixtures for software evaluation.
• Experience developing data analysis and observability tools from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Design, run and analyze scenarios using Python; turn output into performance results.
• Define and instrument system metrics; track them to inform decisions.
• Configure simulation scenarios for customer demos.
• Explain system behavior of components and interactions within the system.
• Build data analysis and observability tooling; enable CI/CD automation.
• Collaborate with algorithm and software engineers to optimize across the system.
