Job summary
SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for the acquisition, development and sustainment of various aviation programs. This on-site role requires presence at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD. The position is active and funds not before Sep 1, 2026. An Active Secret clearance is required, with potential upgrade to Top Secret.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance is required
- Ten years+ experience in software and systems engineering
- Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and/or software
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software requirements for aviation programs
- Review and evaluate vendor software specifications for integration
- Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration and analyze defects
- Collaborate with cybersecurity subject matter experts
- Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs) and ECP processes
- Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) and Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
