Job summary
SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for acquisition, development and sustainment of aviation programs. This on-site role at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD requires an active Secret clearance with potential Top Secret later.
The position is future funded and expected to begin after September 1, 2026, with compensation ranging based on experience and contract specifics.
Qualifications
- Ten years of software and systems engineering experience.
- Experience with military aircraft avionics systems.
- Active Secret clearance; possibility of Top Secret in future.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
- Review software defects and support ECP process.
- Participate in Agile and SAFe team processes.
- Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) and CDRLs; support IGCEs.
- Assist in technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
