Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for acquisition, development and sustainment of aviation programs.

This on-site role requires an active Secret clearance at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD. The position emphasizes MBSE, systems software, Agile/SAFe processes, and collaboration with cybersecurity experts to deliver integrated solutions that meet demanding military standards.

Qualifications

• Ten years+ software/systems engineering experience.
• Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and/or software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Conduct analysis of software defects.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity subject matter experts.
• Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs/SSRs/PDRs/CDRs/TRRs).
• Prepare and review SOWs and CDRLs.
