Job summary

Meriplex is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide second-tier support within the Technical Assistance Center in Lake Oswego, Oregon. This role involves resolving Level 2 end-user issues and delivering top-notch customer service. Responsibilities include advanced user account support, network and VPN access management, basic firewall administration, and server maintenance. Ideal candidates will possess a strong knowledge base in Microsoft 365 applications, networking concepts, and relevant certifications like Network+ and Microsoft 365 certifications.

Qualifications

• Prior MSP proactive support experience is highly encouraged.
• Superior reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of network concepts, devices, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced Active Directory and Office365 user account support.
• Deliver network and end-user VPN access support.
• Administer server maintenance, security groups, and SAN connectivity.
• Perform basic firewall administration.
• Support MS Exchange servers.
• Manage backup and replication solutions.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications

Understanding of advanced technical triage methodologies

Advanced TCP/IP understanding

Ability to communicate technical information effectively

Basic Switching/Routing/Wireless/Firewall knowledge
