Job Profile Summary

Position Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer – Systems and Network Automation

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote

Position Purpose:

This role supports automation efforts that provide Business Managed Enablement teams with a secure and streamlined path for obtaining approvals and deploying changes. The ideal candidate will work on coding and deploying ServiceNow update sets within a custom/scoped application, while collaborating with the Technical Process Enablement team to improve integration and scalability across ServiceNow and non-ServiceNow systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and deploying automation solutions within the ServiceNow platform
• Integrating ServiceNow with other internal and external applications
• Reinforcing ITIL Service Design standards and enabling secure, compliant automation pathways
• Working under the guidance of a Lead Developer within a collaborative, product-focused team

Work Schedule:

• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Candidate’s local time), with a required start no later than 10:00 AM EST
• Fully remote position

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 4–6 years of experience in ServiceNow development and custom/scoped applications
• 4–6 years of experience with core technologies and integrations listed below
• Equivalent experience considered based on demonstrated skills and responsibilities

Key Skills & Qualifications (Top 3 must-haves stack-ranked):

• Senior-level ServiceNow development experience, including building and modifying custom/scoped applications
• Proficiency with ServiceNow integrations, both on the development and system side
• Strong understanding of automation principles and secure design within enterprise environments

Additional technical and professional capabilities include:

• Cybersecurity fundamentals
• PowerShell scripting and endpoint engineering
• Network protocols and systems knowledge
• Familiarity with ITSM, ITIL, IT4IT, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently after onboarding
• Proven project management and organizational skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy under pressure, and strong judgment
• Positive, collaborative attitude with openness to feedback and direction
• Capacity to conceptualize future-state automation improvements and contribute innovative ideas

Preferred Certifications:

• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• ITIL Foundation or higher
