Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Integrations Platform team. You will build tools that improve developer experience for integrations, including infrastructure tooling, telemetry pipelines, and AI‑driven data interpretation.

You will own projects from concept to shipped results and collaborate across teams and the open source community. This role emphasizes working without a fixed spec, delivering outcomes, mentoring teammates, and maintaining a strong focus on security,

Qualifications

Experience building and running evals for AI systems at scale.
Strong proficiency in Python and Go, with hands‑on Terraform for infrastructure and deployment, and BigQuery for telemetry and data analysis.
Proven ability to run projects end to end with autonomy, alongside the judgment to bring others along and seek input when needed.

Responsibilities

Lead green‑field initiatives that shape the future of the developer experience for building and maintaining Security Integrations.
Architect and drive the tooling and automation strategy, leveraging Gen AI to solve problems at scale rather than one‑off fixes.
Set a collaborative tone for the team by fostering open communication, mutual respect, and thoughtful decision‑making, while mentoring engineers along the way.
Represent the team in the open, working closely with Security and Ingest teams, Elastic users, and the broader open source community to shape direction and build trust.
