Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a Senior Staff DevSecOps Engineer to embed security into the design, build, and operation of integrations, ETL pipelines, automations, and AI‑enabled tooling. You will set secure‑development standards, mentor engineers, and help secure MCP servers and AI workflows.

You’ll collaborate across IT Engineering & Platforms and Security to ensure robust, scalable security practices while leading incident response for integrations and automations.

Qualifications

• Nine+ years in application security, DevSecOps, or security engineering.
• Experience defining secure-development standards and mentoring engineers.
• Strong scripting and programming skills; REST APIs and JSON.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead secure‑SDLC practices for integrations, automations, ETL/data pipelines, and tools; mentor engineers.
• Own application‑layer security strategy: SAST/DAST, SCA, secrets management across codebase and CI/CD.
• Set architecture for securing AI and agentic tooling; enforce least privilege and data handling for LLM tools.
• Harden CI/CD pipelines: least‑privilege accounts, secrets management, signed artifacts, gated deployments.
• Build and configure integrations, automations, and tooling with DevOps as needed.
• Build security observability: audit logging, anomaly alerts, incident telemetry.
• Maintain risk‑based inventory of integrations and data flows with access scopes.
• Serve as security liaison between IT Engineering & Platforms and InfoSec & GRC.
• Lead security incidents related to integrations and automations and own runbooks.
