Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Security EDR Workflows team in Columbus, OH. You will design and implement features powering Elastic Defend UI, build APIs for data interaction, and contribute to the architecture of management and response actions with OSquery forensics in a high-scale environment.

You will write production-grade TypeScript/Node.js code, collaborate across teams, and help drive engineering standards and AI-enabled development

Qualifications

• Solid experience with TypeScript/Node.js and React.js.
• Ability to own problems end-to-end from design to production.
• Experience applying AI to development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features powering Elastic Defend UI.
• Build and evolve APIs for Elastic Defend data.
• Contribute to architecture of Defend management and response actions framework with OSquery.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within Elastic.
• Own reliability, observability and operational health of features.
