Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Security EDR Workflows team in Nashville. You will design and deliver workflow-centric UI features and robust APIs that connect Elastic Defend with OSQuery forensics capabilities, helping security practitioners protect and respond at scale.

You’ll own end-to-end improvements, collaborate across product and design teams, and apply AI to speed up development while maintaining reliability and security across the Elastic stack.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with TypeScript/Node.js and React.
• Ability to own problems end-to-end: clarify requirements, design, deliver, monitor, and iterate.
• Apply AI to accelerate development and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features powering Elastic Defend UI capabilities.
• Build and evolve APIs for Elastic Defend data interactions.
• Contribute to architecture of Defend management and OSQuery forensics frameworks.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
• Own reliability, observability, and operational health from design to production.
• Write production-grade code in TypeScript/Node.js as part of a high-quality, well-tested codebase.
• Collaborate with other Elastic engineering teams on cross-team efforts.
• Help advance engineering standards, tooling, and AI-driven processes.
