Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Integrations Platform to empower engineers building integrations and unifying data. You will own tools spanning infrastructure, telemetry, and AI-driven data interpretation, driving outcomes with cross-team collaboration.

The role emphasizes developer experience, autonomy, and working with product teams and partners to ship impactful solutions. Prior Elastic experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience building and running evals for AI systems at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Go, with Terraform for infra and deployment, and BigQuery for telemetry/data analysis.
• Proven ability to run end-to-end projects with autonomy and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead green-field initiatives shaping developer experience for building and maintaining security integrations.
• Architect and drive tooling/automation strategy, leveraging Gen AI at scale.
• Set a collaborative tone, mentor engineers, ensure open communication and thoughtful decisions.
• Represent the team with Security, Ingest, Elastic users, and open source community to shape direction.
