Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Security EDR Workflows team. You will design and implement UI features, APIs, and architecture to empower Elastic Defend and OSquery foensics capabilities, ensuring high-scale performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with security engineering, product, and design teams worldwide, writing production-grade code in TypeScript and Node.js, and driving engineering practices with AI-enabled approaches.

Qualifications

Solid programming experience in Typescript/Node JS and React JS.
Ability to take ownership end-to-end: clarify, design, deliver, monitor in production.
Use of AI to aid understanding and ramping up on solutions.
Proactive, initiative-taking mindset with improving product and processes.
Strong communication to explain complex topics to diverse partners.

Responsibilities

Design and implement features powering Elastic Defend UI capabilities.
Build and evolve APIs for interaction with Elastic Defend data.
Contribute to the architecture of Defend management and OSquery forensics.
Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
Own reliability, observability and health of features from design to production.
Write production-grade TypeScript/Node JS code in a well-tested codebase.
Collaborate with other Elastic teams on cross-team efforts.
Improve engineering practices and tooling driven by AI.
