Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Security EDR Workflows team. You will design and implement features powering the Elastic Defend UI, evolve APIs, and contribute to the architecture of the management and response framework with OSquery forensics capabilities.

You will write production-grade TypeScript/Node.js code, collaborate across teams, and help raise engineering standards with AI-driven tooling while ensuring reliability and scalability in production.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and React.js.
• Ability to own problems end-to-end from design to production.
• Experience using AI to accelerate development.
• Strong collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features powering Elastic Defend UI.
• Build and evolve APIs for Elastic Defend data integration.
• Contribute to architecture of management and response framework with OSquery forensics.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
• Own reliability, observability, and operational health of features.
• Write production-grade code in TypeScript/Node.js as part of a high-quality codebase.
