Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Sustaining Electrical Engineer for its Grand Rapids, MI facility to lead reliability and quality improvements of motor controllers, DC motors, circuit boards, and electromechanical actuators. You will troubleshoot hardware and manage component obsolescence while supporting operations, procurement, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in electrical engineering role.
• U.S. work authorization required for this position; employer sponsor not available.

Responsibilities

• Drive product improvements through engineering analysis, redesign and testing of electromechanical actuators and system hardware.
• Sustain product viability through proactive evaluation and redesign of hardware with obsolete components.
• Develop test plans, specifications and general test procedures for requalification activities; coordinate testing and evaluate results.
