Eaton is seeking a Senior Sustaining Electrical Engineer to lead reliability and quality improvements for Grand Rapids-based products, including motor controllers, DC motors, and electromechanical components. You will analyze, redesign, and test hardware, support obsolescence management, and assist operations, procurement, and customers with technical issues.

The role requires on-site work Monday–Friday at the Grand Rapids facility, with a relocation bonus of $5,000 for qualified candidates

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in electrical engineering role.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• ITAR compliance: U.S. person required.
• No relocation benefit offered; only candidates within 50 miles of Grand Rapids, MI will be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Drive product improvements through engineering analysis, redesign and testing of electromechanical actuators and system hardware.
• Sustain product viability through proactive evaluation and redesign of hardware with obsolete components.
• Develop test plans, specifications and procedures for requalification activities; coordinate testing and generate reports.
• Support PWA supplier transfer initiatives.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service and HPWT to drive cost reduction and reliability improvements.
• Support customer service product inquiries with engineering analysis and field data.
• Develop FRACAS system tracking and metric development.
• Develop Fault Isolation Manuals for operations teams.
