Eaton’s IS AER FMC Aerospace division is seeking a Senior Sustaining Electrical Engineer in Grand Rapids, MI. You will lead momentum product improvements, support troubleshooting, and drive reliability across motor controllers, DC motors, and boards.

Reports to Sustaining Engineering Manager. Requires on-site work M-F and ITAR compliance. Relocation bonus is available for eligible candidates residing beyond 50 miles of Grand Rapids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in electrical engineering.
• U.S. work authorization and ITAR compliance required.
• No sponsorship for immigration or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT.

Responsabilités

• Drive product improvements through engineering analysis, redesign and testing of electromechanical actuators and system hardware.
• Sustain product viability through redesign of hardware with obsolete components.
• Develop test plans, specifications and procedures for requalification activities; coordinate testing and evaluate results.
• Support supplier transfer initiatives for Printed Wire Assembly (PWA).
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service and HPWT to reduce costs and boost reliability.
