Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a senior Environmental Sustainability leader to guide the development and execution of the company’s sustainability strategy, including Scope 3 emissions reductions and responsible sourcing. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, partner with procurement, and drive governance and reporting to support Pfizer’s 2040 Net Zero ambitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience, or Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 1+ years.
• Experience developing corporate sustainability programs in a large, matrixed organization.
• Technical knowledge across climate/GHG accounting, scope 3/supply chain emissions reductions, nature and biodiversity frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage data efficiently.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to translate technical content for executives.
• Experience delivering sustainability playbooks and training to technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies, including Scope 3 emissions reduction and responsible supply chain initiatives.
• Lead the Scope 3 program with cross-functional workstreams and Net Zero Core Team sponsorship.
• Collaborate with External Supply and Procurement to evolve supplier net zero strategies and data quality.
