Job summary

Everlane is seeking a Senior Manager of Sustainability to lead the execution and evolution of our sustainability strategy. You will collaborate with Raw Materials, Product Development, Sourcing, Marketing, and external partners to embed sustainable practices across the business.

You will own reporting, track progress on Renew, Organic Cotton, and carbon reduction, and translate ambitious goals into actionable programs with clear timelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in sustainability or corporate responsibility.
• Experience executing sustainability programs within supply chain, materials, or product‑focused environments.
• Working knowledge of environmental and social compliance frameworks and reporting standards.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Feels comfortable speaking in large groups and with the press.
• A natural love for market research and benchmarking and staying informed on trends in sustainability.
• Passionate about global sustainability and impacting climate long term.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of sustainability roadmap across climate, water, waste, and circularity.
• Drive progress against existing commitments (e.g., Renew, Organic Cotton, carbon reduction).
• Translate high-level sustainability goals into actionable programs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Partner with Raw Materials and Product Development to integrate lower-impact materials and processes.
• Partner with factories, mills, and vendors to ensure alignment with environmental and social standards.
• Support and evolve vendor compliance programs, including data collection and reporting.
• Own quarterly and annual sustainability reporting and ensure transparency and clarity.
• Represent Everlane in industry conversations and stay updated on trends.
