Job summary

Everlane is seeking a Senior Manager of Sustainability to drive the execution and evolution of our sustainability strategy across materials, product development, sourcing, and brand storytelling. You will translate ambitious goals into concrete programs, timelines, and measurable deliverables, partnering with cross-functional teams and external partners to embed sustainability across the business.

You’ll own reporting, maintain accountability against Renew, Organic Cotton, and carbon-reduction

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in sustainability, corporate responsibility or a related field.
• Experience executing sustainability programs within supply chain, materials, or product-focused environments.
• Working knowledge of environmental and social compliance frameworks and reporting standards.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Comfortable speaking in large groups and with the press.
• Market research and benchmarking, staying informed on sustainability trends.
• Passionate about global sustainability and long-term climate impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of Everlane’s sustainability roadmap across pillars including climate, water, waste, and circularity.
• Drive progress against existing commitments (Renew, Organic Cotton, carbon footprint reduction).
• Translate high-level sustainability goals into actionable programs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Partner with Raw Materials and Product Development to integrate lower-impact materials and processes into product lines.
• Partner with factories, mills, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment with Everlane’s environmental and social standards.
• Support and evolve vendor compliance programs, including data collection and performance tracking.
• Own the development of quarterly and annual sustainability reporting and transparency.
• Support systems to track environmental and social compliance data.
• Partner with Marketing to support sustainability storytelling, including updates to the sustainability website.
• Collaborate with Workplace and Retail to embed sustainability across spaces.
• Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and leadership on progress.
• Represent Everlane in industry conversations and working groups.
• Stay informed on trends, innovations, and regulatory changes.
