Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Survey Project Manager to lead survey and geospatial efforts. The role focuses on directing project teams, managing budgets and schedules, and delivering accurate technical data across air, ground, and subsurface data collection channels.

The position demands oversight of QA/QC, client negotiations on scope changes, and collaboration with marketing/business development to win proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years of experience in surveying/geomatics or related field.
• Professional licensure in related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise project staff; ensure scope, schedule, quality and budget alignment.
• Plan man-hours and budgets; monitor time schedules and capital costs.
• Oversee design work and technical data preparation for accuracy.
• Ensure QA/QC processes on all projects and maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Coordinate proposals and marketing support, including business development.
• Identify project teams, tasks, and resource needs; conduct regular team meetings.
• Communicate with clients on scope changes; obtain approvals for out-of-scope work.
