Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in Biddeford, Maine, seeks an experienced Survey Project Manager to lead a blended field and office team on land surveying projects. You will manage projects from kickoff through delivery, oversee budgets and schedules, coordinate staff, and mentor junior staff to advance surveying excellence.

You will work in a high-impact, client-facing role, ensuring quality control, timely deliverables, and strong collaboration with stakeholders while supporting business

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in land surveying or related field.
• Experience managing construction staking projects and crews.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proficient with Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare effective work plans and labor budgets for approval by the Department Manager.
• Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects to satisfy the client and control work and productivity.
• Prepare advanced engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy.
• Coordinate/Prepare As-built submittals for the client at the end of each project.
• Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process on all assigned projects.
• Oversee the work and productivity of assigned projects.
• Strive to achieve predetermined goals for profit, productivity targets, and schedule of deliverables.
• Work under short deadlines to meet construction demands
• Participates in formulating and coordinating proposals and provides other Marketing support, including Business Development.
