Colliers Engineering & Design in Brunswick, ME is seeking a Senior Survey Project Manager to lead land development, infrastructure and construction survey efforts. You will manage project teams from field to deliverables, coordinate with clients, and ensure technical accuracy across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with DOT projects preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Professional licensure in related field.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the work efforts of assigned staff and coordinate technical and managerial direction regarding scope, schedule, quality and budget.
• Prepare effective work plans and man-hour budgets for approval by Department Manager.
• Monitor schedules and capital cost budgets to satisfy the client and control work.
• Quality control/quality assurance on all assigned projects.
• Oversee work and productivity on assigned projects.
• Aim for profit, productivity and timely deliverables.
• Support proposals, marketing and business development.
• Define project teams, tasks, and manpower requirements.
• Hold team meetings and ensure review procedures are followed.
• Negotiate scope changes with clients within approved budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure high utilization.
• Review monthly man-hour and cost reports.
• Ensure adherence to all project planning and profit procedures.
• Discuss scope revisions with clients; approve out-of-scope work.
• Engage department managers to troubleshoot technical problems.
• Collaborate with Billing to transmit bills and follow up on payments.
• Mentor junior staff and promote professional development.
• Adhere to Health and Safety program and SOPs.
