Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Department Manager for the Survey Department to lead teams, coordinate with clients, and ensure technical accuracy from field to deliverables. This role emphasizes leadership, geospatial precision, and project vision within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

The ideal candidate will mentor rising talent, manage day-to-day operations, and pursue new business opportunities across land development, infrastructure, and construction.

Qualifications

• Professional Land Surveyor License required.
• 10+ years of experience in all areas of the job description.
• Must be able to generate revenue through existing client base and new business development.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Land Surveying operation including client communication (internal and external).
• Proposal preparation & invoicing oversight.
• Overseeing 2 or more Survey Crews.
• Develop new business by leveraging existing clients and Colliers Survey/Geospatial capabilities (3D laser scanning, Mobile LiDAR, Rail surveying, GPS, conventional surveys).
