Job summary

Bowman Consulting in San Antonio, TX seeks a Survey CAD Technician IV to prepare and finalize survey deliverables in compliance with standards and client expectations. You will create high-quality CAD drawings, convert field data, and support construction stakeouts while mentoring junior staff.

Ideal candidates have a strong CAD background (8+ years), proficiency in Carlson/Bentley tools, and the ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and professional communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred; commensurate experience considered.
• 8+ years of survey and/or CAD experience in land development/land survey.
• Proficiency in Carlson, Bentley Inroads/Geopak, Revit or similar software.
• Surveyor-in-Training certificate preferred; licensure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare working drawings from ALTA surveys for final approval and submission.
• Convert field data into accurate CAD drawings and project documents.
• Compute and prepare layout data for construction stakeouts including buildings and utilities.
• Review record plats and deliverables for completeness and accuracy.
• Mentor team members and act as a technical resource on projects.
