Job summary

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. is seeking a Survey CAD Technician III to join our Albuquerque team. The role focuses on preparing and finalizing project deliverables and contract documents in line with company standards and client requirements.

The position requires extensive CAD and surveying experience, proficiency with Carlson, Bentley Inroads/Geopak, or Revit, and the ability to work with management to deliver accurate surveys and related drawings. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Five or more (5+) years of relevant survey and/or CAD experience.
• Associate's degree preferred; commensurate experience considered.
• Knowledge of land surveying concepts and related software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ALTA surveys, final deliverables, and project documents.
• Lead/mentor teammates and ensure quality assurance of work.
• Convert data into electronic drawings and project documents.
• Compute horizontal and vertical positions for surveys and stakeouts.
• Review client requests and adhere to standards and specifications.
• Draft final house location surveys from field notes and measurements.
• Submit plots to municipal agencies for review.
• Research using GIS data and related sources.
