Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Survey CAD Technician III to join our Midland, TX team. You will work under supervision to prepare ALTA surveys, draft final documents, and convert field notes into precise drawings.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of survey/CAD experience and proficiency with Carlson, Bentley Inroads/Geopak or Revit. This on-site role offers growth in a collaborative environment and exposure to municipal and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in survey and/or CAD in land development/survey industry.
• AS degree in survey, geography, architecture or civil engineering preferred.
• Experience with ALTA surveys and boundary surveys is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare working drawings from ALTA surveys for final approval and submission.
• Convert field notes into electronically generated drawings and project documents.
• Perform horizontal and vertical computations for boundary surveys and stakeouts.
• Read client requests and adhere to municipal standards and specifications.
• Draft final house location surveys from field notes and measurements.
• Submit plots to municipal agencies for review.
