Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years as a Surgical Technologist.
• Must be certified (CST/TS-C/CSA) or meet grandfather clause SB1239.”—30 CEUs every two years

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room, equipment and supplies for the next patient.
• Pass instruments and supplies for procedures and assist the surgeon.
• Mentor and orient new surgical technologists.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Support department and patient safety initiatives.
