Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for our Atrium Health Surgery Center in Huntersville. The role supports RN circulator in patient preparation, instrument handling, and maintaining sterile technique in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, and 2 years of OR experience. Current BLS is required, with certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• 2 years operating room experience; current certification preferred; Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains aseptic technique and prepares supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Assists RN circulator with patient prep and room turnover.
• Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Assists in selecting and organizing supplies and equipment; documents charges accurately.
• Supports in policy/procedure development and participates in performance improvement activities.
