Job summary

ZEISS Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Posterior Consumable Specialist to protect the installed base, drive consumables sales, and develop annual business plans for the region. You will forecast monthly pipelines and report weekly on activities in a fast-paced surgical market.

The role requires a four-year degree with 5+ years of sales experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Competitive base salary plus commissions and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent; 5+ years of sales experience.
• High level of technical/clinical product knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet and database management.
• Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
• Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency of GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures; comply with employment laws.
• Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas while managing expenses.
• Collaborate in a team to share leads, protect installed base, and develop new consumables sales.
• Demonstrate products through scheduled personalized demonstrations to surgeons and staff.
• Maintain territory records to plan, execute and measure results.
• Educate surgeons and staff on product operation and application to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide timely written and oral updates on monthly activity; manage costs, inventory, and receivables.
• Maintain SFDC reports and dashboards for opportunities, leads and sales funnel.
