Job summary

ZEISS Meditec Inc. seeks a Senior Posterior Consumable Specialist to protect installed base and drive consumables sales in AZ, NM, El Paso, and Las Vegas regions. You will build annual plans, forecast pipeline, and achieve revenue targets while managing expenses.

The role requires strong clinical product knowledge, multi-tasking, and excellent communication with surgeons, OR staff, and administration. The position reports to the ZEISS Recruiting Team and offers a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent; 5+ years of sales experience.
• High level of technical/ clinical product knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet and database management.
• Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
• Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency of and adhere to GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures.
• Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas for region of responsibility while managing within a specific expense budget.
• Work effectively in a team environment to share leads, protect installed base, and develop accounts.
• Make personalized sales demonstrations to surgeons, OR staff, and administration at facilities in region.
• Maintain territory records and measure results.
• Educate surgeons and staff on operation, utilization, and application of our product.
• Provide timely communications to management regarding monthly activity.
• Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards and updates relative to opportunities, leads and sales funnel.
• Develop and implement synergy opportunities among Zeiss entities and partners when possible.
• Develop marketing approaches for the region.
• Complete all paperwork timely.
• SFDC updates, Concur, Fleet, CurioZ.
