Job summary

ZEISS Meditec Inc. is seeking a Senior Posterior Consumable Specialist in the United States. You will protect the installed base and drive consumables sales, develop annual business plans, and forecast pipeline while achieving regional revenue targets.

The role requires strong product knowledge, field sales experience, and the ability to work with surgeons and operating room teams. Travel within the territory and coordination with field service are expected.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent; 5+ years' sales experience.
• High level of technical/clinical product knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
• Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency of GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures; follow employment laws.
• Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas for the region.
• Collaborate in team environments for lead sharing, installed base protection, and new sales.
• Provide scheduled, personalized demonstrations to surgeons and OR staff.
• Maintain territory records to plan and measure results.
• Educate customers on operation, utilization, and application of products.
• Provide timely written and oral communications to management on monthly activity.
• Manage costs, inventory, and accounts receivable within the cost center.
• Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards for opportunities and leads.
• Develop synergy opportunities with Zeiss teams and partners.
• Create marketing approaches for regional needs.
• Submit all paperwork promptly.
